الابتكار والفعالية في الأمن السيبراني
من نحن وما هدفنا؟
في أوائل عام ٢٠١٩، أتيحت لمجموعة من الخبراء اللبنانيين في مختلف قطاعات الحماية السيبرانية فرصة اللقاء و طرح الهواجس الناتجة عن التهديدات السيبرانية الحديثة وتأثيرها المباشر على الوطن. بناءً عليه وانطلاقاً من الواجب الوطني بادروا إلى توحيد قدراتهم وكفاءاتهم وتشكيل جمعية Lebanon CERT التطوعية وتقديم خبراتهم في سبيل التطوير و الدفع إلى الامام في هذا المجال.
بعد تحديد رؤية واضحة، بدأ فريق Lebanon CERT وعلى الفور في برمجة وتطوير نظام خاص يجمع كافة المعلومات الضرورية للكشف عن الثغرات الامنية الحرجة لأنظمة تقنيات المعلومات في الفضاء السيبراني على مستوى الوطن وتحديدها ليتم الابلاغ عنها لاحقا إلى الجهات ذات الصلة.
اقتصر عملنا في البداية على مسح محدود لعدد من الأنظمة المعلوماتية، ولكن بعد توطيد التعاون مع الأطراف ذات الصلة، وتطوير ملحوظ لإجراءات البحث، تمكنّا من تحقيق تقدم فعلي في التوسع لمساحة نطاق البحث.
العمل المتميز والذي يُعد سابقة في لبنان أكسبنا ثقة المجتمع و دافعاً نحو المزيد من التغيير في ثقافة الأمن السيبراني.
مهمتنا تكمن في توفير فضاء إلكتروني أكثر أمانًا وزيادة مستوى الوعي حول قضايا اﻷمن السيبراني بين الجهات الرئيسية الفاعلة في المجتمع اللبناني و تحفيز ثقافة وطنية للأمن السيبراني.
سوف نعمل للحفاظ على علاقات وطيدة مع جميع فرق CIRT/CERT التابعة للشركات الخاصة وكذلك التعاون مع مختلف المكونات من بنوك و معاهد و كافة قطاعات المجال الأكاديمي والسلطات الحكومية ومقدمي خدمات الإنترنت وكافة المؤسسات الأخرى.
تلتزم جمعية مركز البحوث لتعزيز الحماية السيبرانية بمراقبة حثيثة للثغرات الأمنية التي قد يتعرض لها المتسللون وتنظيم الإتصال الفوري مع أصحاب القرار لدرء الأخطار وإيجاد الحلول المناسبة، كما تضمن عدم كشف المخاطر الأمنية إلا للمعنيين وبسريّة تامة.
نرجو أخذ العلم أن مركز بحوث تعزيز الحماية السيبرانية يضم مجموعة اختصاصيين في الأمن السيبراني يعملون على رفع مستوى الحماية السيبرانية ونشر الوعي للمخاطر التي تنتج في الفضاء السيبراني لدى المؤسسات والأفراد في المجتمع اللبناني. إن هذا المركز هو ليس الفريق الوطني للاستجابة لطوارئ الحاسوب بل هو جمعية غير ربحية وغير حكومية يعمل باحثوه على مساعدة كافة القطاعات اللبنانية التي تعمل في المجالات الرقمية للولوج إلى فضاء سيبراني أكثر أماناً.
Lebanon Cybersecurity Empowering Research Team (CERT) Story and Mission
Story: Early 2019 a group of Lebanese security experts from various sectors had a chance to meet and share their concerns about evolved cyber security threats and their direct impact to homeland country. They volunteered to take a step further in provisioning their collaborative expertise to launch the Lebanon CERT non-profit organization. After defining a clear vision, Lebanon CERT operated immediately and developed a structured information gathering platform that investigate, identify and report on critical cyber vulnerabilities. We started with a very limited scope, but after spanning the cooperation with relevant parties in Lebanon we are now more confident of overseeing a suitable coverage.
The trust we gained is our motivation to drive for a further change in the country security culture.
Mission: Our mission is to provide a more secure cyber space and increase level of awareness among the main actors of the Lebanese society. We would maintain the relations with company’s CIRT/CERT groups and cooperate with various entities across the country – Banks, institutions in the academic sphere, public authorities, ISPs, and others.
Lebanon CERT commits to regularly monitor security weaknesses that are subject to be exposed by intruders and coordinate their remediation accordingly.
We will expose identified security risks to respective entities discreetly and in a timely manner.
Disclaimer: We are a group of Lebanese security experts who created a non-profit organization that aims to empower the cyber space in Lebanon and to spread and raise security awareness within the community against the threats that face the digital systems of the various Lebanese sectors. We are not the national Lebanon Cyber Emergency and Response Team CERT but rather research volunteers who want to take a step further in provisioning their collaborative expertise to provide a more secure digital world for public and private sectors.
